UPDATE: Speed Hump Construction - As of Thursday, November 10, 2023.

You may have noticed the removal of the 6-speed humps installed on Canyon Lakes Drive on the south side of the golf course.  According to the Kennewick Public Works Department, these six humps installed in September did not meet the City of Kennewick acceptance specifications and have been removed.

The contractor was not able to modify the speed humps to meet the City's design specifications, so they have been removed and the surface of the streets where the speed humps were located were coated.  The colder weather at this time of year does not provide suitable conditions for asphalt paving a successful reinstallation.

Canyon Lakes entered into a contract with Central Paving to install 12-speed humps that meet city specifications and criteria suitable for approval by the City of Kennewick.  Sis of the speed humps did not conform to the requirements for acceptance.  The Board, the City, and Central Paving will readdress the issues for permitting the installation of the remaining speed humps in 2024 when weather conditions permit.

For questions on this matter, call Jerry Campbell, CLPOA President, at 509-975-9657.

Join Our Paperless Campaign!

Mass communications, assessment invoices, and notices, many required by The Revised Code of Washington, are mailed via U.S. Mail to Canyon Lakes property owners throughout the year. With nearly 1,000 homes in our community, the cost of postage and printing is increasing. In 2023, the cost of printing has increased 25% over 2022.

The CLPOA is launching a program, allowing owners to elect to receive and authorize the Association to deliver electronic communications through emails and texts. If you wish to opt in to receiving electronic communications, including your assessment invoice, from the Association, you may complete the online opt-in form online at https://canyonlakespoa.org/mailing-list/.

Email addresses and phone numbers obtained from property homeowners will be used only for the purposes of CLPOA communications and will not be disclosed to a third party.
